This game is an idea I have for a combat system. It's inspired by the Guadia Quest minigame from Retro Game Challenge, and also RPGs with timing-based combat (Mario RPGs, Shadow Hearts, Mother 3, etc.). Initially, I planned to only have the combat system but instead, I decided to make a small game along with it so that there's a little more to do than just fighting.

HOW TO PLAY 

The game is played entirely with the left mouse button. Pick a hero and try to get as far as you can! In each dungeon level, treasure chests may be generated, as well as events. You will also have the opportunity to rescue heroes to increase your party size.

During combat, each hero can attack multiple times, or use an available skill. Attacking or using a skill involves using a token to land on different panels. Sometimes, you'll encounter enemies who can block your attacks, but if you destroy their shields, you can acquire various bonuses.

Here are the different panels you will encounter:

  Normal: Deal 100% of your damage. In the case of skills, no bonuses are added or lost.

Reduced: Deal 50% of your damage. Skills suffer a penalty to success rate.

 Miss: No damage. Skills fail completely.

Critical: Deal 150%+ of your damage. Skills gain a bonus to success rate.

Special: Use a weapon skill if a weapon has one.
